Austin Music Fashion Mix
In September 2011, our Fashion Show Production class put on a runway show like no other. Our ultimate goal was to capture Austin Diversity. Since Austin is extremely well known as the "Live Music Capital" of the country, we wanted to incorporate live music into our fashion show. The location in the heart of Downtown Austin at The Coppertank attracted almost 300 guests and served as a unique runway layout. As a class we decided a large circular runway would be the most eye-catching, created by the two large archways seperated by a wall in the middle surrounded with seating on each side (see 1st picture in slideshow below).
We captured four different fashion styles depicted by each genre of live music that was playing by local Austin artists:
