Pleats Aplenty

The objective of my Apparent Construction and Evaluation course project was to create a trend board based on the specific construction detail given by my professor (each student got a different detail). My given construction detail was pleats, hence my creative title: Pleats Aplenty. There are 8 different types of pleats utilized on runways and in the fashion industry as a whole. Pleats are a classic construction detail that are unique in the way they come and go as a trend, and each time they return as a different type. I decided to list them all and showcase examples of the popular varieties.
